…or at least appreciate it more. Classical music is some of the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard, a true achievement of sound and composition. However, to my generation the genre is seen as elitist. According to Benjamin Zander, this is the furthest thing from the truth.
Zander is the head conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and is a well known advocate for sharing Classical music to those who may not think they could enjoy it. The video below (courtesy of TED) is insightful, funny, and could possibly inspire you to go out and buy some Beethoven.
The video is twenty minutes, but it is well worth your time.
