Suze Rotolo: 1943-2011

Yesterday Suze Rotolo died at the age of 67 from poor health.

She was Bob Dylan’s girlfriend when he first moved to New York in the early 60s and was the inspiration to some of Dylan’s best love songs including “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright,” “Tomorrow Is A Long Time,” and “Boots Of Spanish Leather.”

She is also the girl holding Dylan’s arm on the cover of his famous second albumĀ The Freewhellin’ Bob Dylan.

Thank you Suze for inspiring Dylan and helping him become the musician we know and love.
