Grammy award winning R&B singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her apartment today at 4:05 GMT. The cause of death is undetermined, though she has struggled with a much publicized drug addiction for many years. She was 27.
She had one of the best soul voices of the past decade, and her last album Back To Black was one of the best R&B albums of the 2000s. From that album is one of my recent favorite songs, “Love Is A Losing Game.” Here’s that song to remind all of us, including myself, how great of a singer she was and what she could have done. Rest in peace Amy.
